In a city which seems to be constantly changing, this view from the Shard reinforces a sense of how ancient, how confusing and how eerily beautiful it is!

It is refreshing to see London from the newest tower to spring up, and this photograph has hugely fuelled my desire to visit the tower! It is simply gorgeous to see a night-time view of London with it's golden-strands of streets mixing up like an enormous spider web, and how the river not only splits but unites the city and the architecture.

What I also love, is that this doesn't seem to be a usual holiday snap, where it is a simple point and shoot, there is a feeling that you have taken not only time, but effort and appreciation, not only of the city, but of the camera and how the whole picture, and how each minute detail will effect and affect the whole picture!
